messenger app for 2.1?

hey guys. So I updated my iTouch to 2.1.....

I have installer and cydiah but there's no messenger app for download...

Is there a way to get agile on my iTouch or something?

And before I updated there was ALOT of apps in the installer... Do I need todo something to make them come up again?

Well first things first, don't use installer, its crap

Onto your second problem, agile messenger is not made for 2.x.x, so you'll have to get one of the free ones from the AppStore if you want a messenger application

Thirdly, most of the stuff that was on installer/cydia is not there any more on 2.x, but most of the stuff that really matters have been ported over.

i just would use the aim app cuz aim is all people use.(from my real life) yeah i know people on here use msn. ive never actually tried msn to be honest.

more people in the world use msn... but yeah depends on the city... in my city everyone uses msn... i have an aim account too because once when i went in an exchange, everyone there had aim lol... and the best one so far is palringo... it had been buggy but an update just came out and it seems it solved the problem... look for it in the appstore

palringo kind of does that... it saves your session in palringo's server so when u close it u don't disconnect... and when you open it again u r still online... no appstore can really stay opened... so it has to be something in cydia or installer, and there is still not such thing :S...
