only exporting and importing .ipfw works for me (need .bin to be compatible). any body else who is having the same problem post here and if anyone else has that or more working post what is working for you exactlly here. List of What Works and What doesn't -Importing-only .ipfw- fixed .bin works too now -Exporting-slow but works -writing to ipod-Slow but works -Editing images and resources -doesn't show any loaded Last edited by Legendary; 06-11-2008 at 03:38 PM. |

I imported the firmware from the iPod, then opened another firmware (The Touch Hack) and then simply quit iTunes and wrote the firmware to my iPod. The only thing I had to do was change the file extension to .ipfw. |

I got it to work. I can import firmware from the iPod (it takes a long time though), and I can put firmware on the iPod. I just had to change the file extension to .ipfw. I have absolutely no idea how to load resources (if that's even possible). |

Well Background firmwares don't work because the people who made it left out some important things. Here is a list: They did not change the size to the size it should, They rearranged the resource which made gaps, and They did not add the new size to the resource header. |
