I actually think this place would be alright, but you've got to get an identity. Running an Idol-clone contest isn't the way to get there.

(I know the lead Admins/founders haven't said anything on this yet, but with the majority of the userbase and one normal Admin agreeing...)

Yeah, you could say that, but that's stupid. That would mean that because we talk about iPods, we are ripping off sites like iPodHacks, iLounge, etc.

Lifting a contest from another site, however, is a rip-off - it's quite plain to see. Not many other sites run these kind of things, and considering you basically all came from iPW and that iPW are running this right now, well, it's extremely sus.

It's up to your lead Admins - if you want to move out of a shadow, it's best to act differently.
