AirTunes — built into the AirPort Express Base Station — takes the music from the iTunes library on your computer and sends it wirelessly to any stereo or speakers in your home. Plug an AirPort Express into an electrical outlet near your speakers, then connect your speakers to the AirPort Express with an audio cable. In iTunes, you can choose which speakers you want your music to play on — in your den, living room, or bedroom. If you have more than one AirPort Express connected to speakers, you can play the same music on all your speakers at the same time.

Apple TV

Apple TV connects to your widescreen TV, then talks to iTunes over a fast wireless connection. Pair Apple TV with iTunes on your Mac or PC, and your movies, TV shows, music, podcasts, and photos sync automatically.

Remote

With Remote you can control the iTunes music on your computer or Apple TV from your iPod touch or iPhone. Play, pause, skip, shuffle. See your songs, playlists, and album art. Update to iTunes 8, and you can create a Genius playlist or edit an existing playlist. And do it all on your iPod touch or iPhone as if you were right in front of your computer. Available on the App Store, Remote is free and works with your Wi-Fi network, so you can control playback from anywhere in and around your home.

Get at-a-glance information about what’s on your iPod, update iPod software, and control syncing from the iPod summary screen. Even sync iTunes purchases, ratings, and playlists from your iPod back to your Mac or PC.
iPhone

iTunes syncs everything to your iPhone — ringtones, music, video, photos, applications, contacts, calendars, email accounts, even bookmarks — and lets you manage it all from the iPhone summary screen.

iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store

Preview, buy, and download music directly to your iPhone or iPod touch. Just find a Wi-Fi hotspot and tap the iTunes icon to shop the Wi-Fi Music Store. Browse New Releases, What’s Hot, Genres, Top Songs, and Top Albums. Or search for what you want. Tap a song to play a 30-second preview or tap the Buy button. Songs start downloading instantly, and you can keep track of their progress by tapping the Downloads button. When you get back to your computer, all the music you bought syncs to your iTunes library. If you’ve partially downloaded a song to iPhone or iPod touch, iTunes completes the download automatically.

Search and browse games and applications on the iTunes Store — just as you would music or video — and download them with a click. When you connect your iPhone or iPod touch to your computer, iTunes syncs applications automatically. You can also download applications from the App Store directly to your iPhone or iPod touch.

Tagging

With iTunes Tagging, you don’t need to wait for the DJ to tell you what song just played. Hear a song, press Tag on a compatible HD Radio receiver, speaker system, or car stereo system, and your connected iPod saves the song’s title and metadata. Sync your iPod to a Mac or PC and a new Tagged playlist appears in the iTunes jukebox — complete with links to the iTunes Store — so you can preview and buy your Tagged songs with a click.
