Ok this one's for people who are n00bs at image editing like me

I'm not sure if animation is possible with Photoshop?
Anyway, to get started, you need to make a bunch of .gif images (make sure to save them only as .gif). You can do this using any software like Photoshop or GIMP or PaintShop Pro or Paint.NET or even MS Paint

.
Once you've done this, it is advisable to save all images in a folder and name them according to order like image01.gif, image02.gif, etc.
Now you need a simple program that lets you animate your gifs. I used
UnFreez. Its pretty cool. You can download UnFreez
here. There are many others too that do the job like MS GIF Animator and iAnimate.
Here, I have created four simple gifs:
Now, you need to merge them. Unzip the UnFreez that you downloaded, and open it. Now drag the gifs one by one. Click on 'Make Animated GIF'. Save it where you want. And voila, its done! You can also choose whether the animation repeats itself and how fast it plays the frames.
Here's the result:
Thank You
