Thumbs up [PS] How to do a reflection effect

Hi guys this is a tutorial that will guide you to do a reflective effect, they are realy popular in company's logos and evrything else. It's a simple way to make a image more attractive. Anyway, here are the steps to follow.

1.Open a new document, make sure it will be big enough to make the reflection at the bottom of it.

2.Make a new layer called (ex: Picture) and paste the object,writing or whatever you want to do.

3.Create a new layer called (ex: Reflection) and paste the object or whatever in it.

4.Make sure you have the ''Reflection'' layer selected and go in:
Edit->Transform-> Flip vertical

5.Now, you can move the reflection where you want to.

6.Take the Gradient tool and use the background color as first color and transparent the second, apply the gradient until you like it

-If you have probem or any comments, Pm me or post in here

Jum.. I think it's better if you make a mask in the reflection layer and then put the gradient in the mask. That way if you don't like how the gradient turns out to be or want to change it in a latter time you can do it with no problems.

Yep, I do it that way, too. But that's just another way to make it same result in the end (most of the time)!

But good tutorial for beginners, good work, Xavier!

BTW: It might be helpful to post a few pics (if it is possible)

Cheers
