Default Non-Jailbroken iPod Touch with custom Carrier icon
Hey guys, I have found this, it's not really a hack but...
So, if you don't want to jailbreak your iPod and you want a custom carrier text/icon (it replace the "iPod" in the titlebar).

Follow these steps and you will have it:

1. Download ZiPhone

2. Jailbreak your iPod Touch

3. Download MIM (Make it Mine) from the Installer

4. Set a custom carrier text ( mine is Kedzi )

5. Go in iTunes, restore your iPod

6. When your iPod have been restored, when iTunes ask you to resotre from backup, select this option.

7. After it has been restoed from backup, you should have a custom carrier icon and not the "iPod" !!!


PS; I know it's useless since nobody wants to keep a non-jailbroken iPod but we never know !

I did this, but it was my (now) ex-girlfriends' name, so I can't change it without restoring :/
