if you like playing online games and watching videos request apple to support flash for the iPhone at the apple website product feedback if enough people ask they might give it to us

They are probably already working on it. It will hopefully come soon after or with the SDK, which will most likely come somewhere around the 29th.

Yeah.. hopefully they are working on it, that would be the greatest addition to the ipod touch. Though flash for itouch wouldnt be cheap since flash is not a plugin but sets of binary it can only be made by Adobe themselves.. which makes me worried and think apple will think the money spent on flash wouldnt equal or add the the profit made of the ipod touch... they don't want to be losing money now...

I have requested flash from apple many times it can't hurt to let them know that everyone wants this and that they could be losing out on sales because flash is not on the itouch devices

i wonder why not if they can play youtube videos... by the way how do they play youtube videos? did google converted al youtube videos to a format the iPod can play?

I'm pretty sure that the Youtube application has a certain plug-in to be able to play the videos. I don't know all the details though.

I'm not sure of the whole process but, I believe youtube takes your video and converts from mpeg file into an FLV and on ipod it only has the nessesary set of binaries for the youtube videos to be played... I think, not sure

The youtube plug-in has flash capability's, but after the SDK comes out im sure we will see all sorts of cool stuff, maybe a flash plug-in?
