Help please 6g ipod sound all fuzzy..

Hi i have got a 6g ipod but the sound all fuzzy and very hard to hear does anyone now what could causing the problem and how to fit it thanks

Also no good when plug in to my ipod dock it sound really S___t please help..

try getting it serviced by apple. should be free

that's weird, the audio coming out of the dock, and the headphone jack are compleatly, different

like if you break your headphone jack you can still use the dock to listent to your music

Hi yes that what i was thing as it should work really i got a pm from paulc he say:
your headphone jack controls all you ipods audio.be it through headphones or your dock.it sounds like it has gone or is breaking down.your only option is to replace it

So i try what he said get a replacement the headphone jack see if that fixs it.

Hi just found out on Apple Online Service Assistant

Our records indicate that your product is covered under Apple's Limited Warranty which is estimated to expire on 28 Oct 2008.

Is that any good would apple fix it for free.

They should. It's under warranty and if it's nothing that you explicitly caused then they should fix it for you
