TV Out on IPod Classic

I am new here so I apologize if this is a repeat post (though I couldn't find one). Has anyone figured out a hack on the classic to reinstate the video out function to work with the 3rd party docks and accessories out there?

I believe that they removed the capability completely on the new iPod Classic. Its not much of a software hack as much as it would have to be a tech hack.

this section for the forum is for the iPod Video... there's no section for the Classic becasue it's unmoddable... i didn't knew the Classic didn't have the video out function though

This didn't work well on my 5.5G iPod Video.
I don't know why.

Maybe that's why they removed it

it worked and still works for me... for both my 5G and my 5.5G

It didn't really work on my ipod 5.5

but now theres just apple tv's. i think thats why. marketing =]

if you mean like TV output, i have an A/V cable that works perfectly with my 5G, and there's a 6G forum now
