[Nano/1.3.1] 3G Horizontal Hack

This is a hack made by lill_postiZ from ipod wizard in my opinion i think it is a great hack currently there are only a few themes to it. This is my first big hack and it is also the first hack I post so averyone can use it. This hack is based on the 3g nano hack for the 1g nano, I got this idea when I saw that "jonsingh12" has realesed the "iPod Horizontal Split Screen | Redesigned Classic Hack". I decided to make a similar hack for the nano and here it is with my own leopard H3G theme. I took some of the graphics from my other themes just becouse I wanted to realease this hack as fast as possible.

v. 1.1:
Show song title in menus, credit goes to smeagol303 and ledhendrixman
moved the play/pause icon but I can't move it to the position I realy want to place it
Included the game hack for save games, credit Matthew98, Brown_Boy & DJ.

v. 1.2:
Song title, album, artist is visible in all menus.
The play and paus icon is moved
New theme, credit goes to smeagol303 who made 50% of the changed graphics, thanks .

v. 1.2.1:
fixed missing battery

v. 1.2.2:
better performance with the B&B theme
Some moved resources

v. 1.2.3
fixed the black now playing text.
Everything is packed in a firmwire file.

Instructions:
1. open ipod wizard
2. load firmware black and blue
3. load pics of whatever theme u want (i'll be uploading all the themes in the theme section so stay tuned )
4. write to ipod
5. Eject(leave cable plugged in till progress bar on ipod is over and ur computer sees ur ipod again )
6.Eject Again
7. Enjoy

ya we just need more themes for it to get more attention. i wish i can make themes but i have no one to teach me or show me how

Just installed the 3G Horizontal Hack using the Black Apple theme. While it took a couple tries to get it right, it now appears to be working quite well. Thanks for your work on this hack and especially for making it for the Nano!

hey i dont understand what u mean with
3. load pics of whatever theme u want (i'll be uploading all the themes in the theme section so stay tuned )

and what are the other things for
\black font
\layout
\menu
\white font

i dont understand what i should do with them
and how can i use .rsrc files

load the resources by going to the layout tab in ipodwiz there should be a drop down menu labeled resource type. now for layouts load the layout resources and so on (font types load the font color). this should work. also when u press eject leave the ipod connected to the cable for u will see a progress bar on ur screen after its done and ur computer sees it again press eject again and remove the cable

PLEASE, how could you put the progress bar ABOVE the song info?

I own a 5G and I haven't seen this in any other hack! I also tried several resources editing but song info always disappear when moving the progress bar a little bit to the top... =/

You don't need to give tooooo much details, just give me a way to go and I'll be forever grateful!

1. I didn't make this. it was made by lil_postiZ
2. i believe he got the idea of this hack when he saw someone make it for the 5g . also btw isn't the same concept being made for the psp evolution?

i don't know how i can help u in the progress bar think. i don't know anything abt resources at all. if i did i wouldn't know anything for video. cause i have a nano
