iPod battery ran out during firmware upgrade...

now what do I do? Sorry, newbie here... I was using the "Nano - Ultimate Background Hack 1.3.1 Final" firmware and the "iPhone Comes To Nano" theme. I was following the instructions as well as I could, but my battery life seemed to be sucked dry by the firmware upgrade and now it's sitting there with a screen on the nano showing that it needs to be plugged in... I've got it plugged in and have restarted my computer, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. Did I kill my nano??? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Put in into disk mode and plug it.

Alright. plug your ipod on your computer. Then hold center and menu fir about six seconds. Right when it reboots, press and hold center+play. it will go in disc mode. You can now restore your ipod in itunes. Careful you will lose all your data in your ipod not the one from your computer. so you will just have to sync your ipod and your songs etc will be back

Yeah, I thought he would have know how to put it in disk mode...

is the pic of a wall charger and an adapter telling u to plug it in ?
if so just reset ur nano by pressing menu and center together till it reboots(shouldn't take long just probably 10 sec)

It turns out that a simple holding the menu and center buttons for a few seconds did the trick. I thought I did something stupid and killed it! It was a much easier fix than I ever would have thought! Thank you again for the fast responses and great help!

Alright glad it all worked out. Just next time make sure your battery is at least half full
