well for that I don't actually know but i'm sure that itunes uses your serial number in some way that's confidential. then again it would only matter more if you had an iphone, rather than an ipod touch. nonetheless i would still take it off.

I can't wait till the 2.0 is released.

The only downside is all programs will need to be recoded because of the new framework 2.0 uses. If you try to put a program that for the 1.1.4 firmware and under, it will only crash (like the installer application for now).
