Help installing a bootloader (multiple themes)

Ive tried to install multiple themes on my ipod many times with a boot loader but have had no success.
if someone could help me out i would greatly appreciate it.

Doing the following has successfully worked for me. I have had over 10 different themes on my iPod at the same time.

Sorry if the instructions seem long or slightly confusing. Its really a quick process, just a bit time consuming to explain step by step.

1. Download Multiple Themes.rar (see attachments)
2. Extract Multiple Themes.rar to your Desktop for easy access.
3. Copy ipodloader folder to your C:
4. Browse to the root of your ipod and copy loader.cfg to the root.
5. Create a folder on the root of your ipod called themes.
6. Run Theme Extraction.bat and wait for it to finish.
7. Browse to ipodloader folder on your C:
8. Copy "namethisfile" from your C: to the themes folder on your ipod.
9. Rename the "namethisfile" on your ipod to whatever you would like.
10. Right Click on the loader.cfg file that is on your ipod and click edit.
11. Change EXAMPLE @ (hd0,1)/themes/example to (Theme Name) @ (hd0,1)/themes/(whatever you named your namethisfile)
12. Save and close loader.cfg
13. Run ipodpatcher.exe and wait for it to finish. (the installer is self explanatory)
14. Eject your iPod

When you eject your iPod it should then restart but instead of booting into your normal theme it will boot into the bootloader. From there you can either select the file that you named from the list and it will load that them or you can select OSOS and it will load which ever theme you last loaded on your ipod.

Doing this I have had nearly a dozen themes on my iPod at the same time. Switching themes just involves resetting your iPod and choosing another theme from the list to load.

when i ran it
all i got was a file called "boot" in the multiple themes folder
nothing in the ipodloader folder

edit
i did the rest of the steps with the "boot" file
and when i tried to load into the theme there is a gray loading bar
but once it gets about 10% it restarts

So you arent getting a file called namethisfile?

Right click on the theme extraction.bat file and make sure it says

CD Cipodloader
ipodpatcher.exe -r boot.bin
ipod_fw.exe -o namethisfile -e 0 boot.bin

EDIT: Yeah the boot.bin file isnt the one that you want to put on your ipod. It is supposed to create a namethisfile which is the one you want to put on your ipod.

So, can I use these instructions to dual boot two firmwares, or is it a different approach?

I followed parts of different tutorials and finally got it
and i have 3 themes

I had two themes a while ago, but I got tired of how long it took to load so I switched back to just one theme. It boots so much faster.
