itunes will not sync all songs

Ok one day my ipod messed up so i restored it to factory settings
but after that i tried to sync and it only syncs about 1000 out of my 3000+ songs
it will not sync my videos at all

once it reaches around 1000 songs it says it cannot sync my ipod and gives me an error message

please help ASAP

switch on manual thingy then put some songs on it and then switch back to automatik thingy xD ... maybe it will work

i think it might be a corrupt file but im not sure

is it on the "only sync checked songs"? if it is turn it off. also, when you ipod gets into itunes, try going to the music tab and select sync all music and playlists if it is not already selected. if none of those are whats causing it, then i dont know whats wrong.

UPDATE:
i tried disconnecting my battery
but that only made it worse
it only syncs around 200 songs now
so i have a 1g ipod video pretty much

eww that is bad, If i we're you i would put a fresh firmware on it (the legal standard one) got to wherever you bought it and they should get you a new one or repair it.
