i got a random red dot the size of one pixel in the middle of my screen?
can I fix this??

Its probably a stuck/dead pixel. What kind of ipod is it?

NO SHIT lol. if it's a 5/5.5G then download a video of a bunch of colorful static and play it on the ipod, that might fix it

Or you can try this: restart your iPod (centre+menu) before the apple logo highlights hold down the centre+rewind (left) buttons to go into diagnostics mode. Click on IO setting and Display, and click through the colours as fast as you can. Repeat scrolling through the colours until the red dot is gone.

Alright now try getting a video of static (colorful static works best) and play it on your iPod. It's recommendedby 88% of the worlds leading scientists (jk). No but seriously just play it for like 20 minutes. (20 chars) (lol)
