Menu not syncing up correctly.

been reading for awhile and first time posting..

i tried using search before making a thread but couldnt find anything.. maybe im just retarded..


Okay.. so before this weekend ive never used my ipod for anything other then to listen to music but then i got bored of how it looked so decided to mess with it a little.

I have a 60GB Ipod Video. ( 5g )

i first did the iPod Touch - Ipod Video firmware change. Worked Amazingly.

i used :

then i saw the Hybrid one with 9 Menus and the song on the front of the screen! and it looks great! so i decided to try it..

and i followed instructions EXACTLY however my menu still isnt synced up.. i have to many times try and guess which is which..

i also notice that sometimes when i go up to the top where Music is if i continue to scroll up i can hear about 2-3 more clicks and same with the buttom.

Now before you reply i did do exactly as told by reseting the menu and everything and it still did nothing..


After getting fustrated i updated the ipod to 1.3 making it back to normal.. then i started all over once agian following it exactly just in case i made a mistake the first time.. but nope same o same o...

any ideas?

p.s. when i reset menu i notice it had by default turn on "radio" .. i dont know if this should be on or not but i turned it off.

but on settings>main menu, what do you have ticked?

Photos
Videos
Extras
Games
Shuffle Songs
Sleep

and thats it.. i believe settings is added automatically
