That has to be a bitch. Good thing my Ultimate Background Hack doesn't do that.

I'm still looking into this and I'm trying to fix this. If we knew how to use iPodEdit, I'd be able to fix very easily, but right now I have to play with a hex editor.

If you could fix this it would be awesome cause it can be annoying sometimes, but most of the time I just mess around with it while it has the weird theme on there.

... do the songs play? or are they dead links?

cuz if they play, then that would make a perfect dual theme sort of thing(for personal use) but prolly needs to be fixed immediately, before apple hears. if not, then it's just annoying. find a way to redirect the stuff back? like just put the links to the right resources twice? or copy pictures twice?

I really don't think they can play.

However, if they did you'd need to manually add the songs to iPod root and change the edit the firmware to make it link to those songs. Like I said it's like there's another iTunes database built in the firmware.

Yeah, they are dead links since it is another iTunes database, not mine so it doesn't play an album even if I have it on my iPod.

Restore my iPod first before plugging it in? (select and menu or select and play? on the iPod)
Then open iPod Wizard and reput in the iTouch hack and change those two images. (Do I have to put the resources and strings in just if I want to change just those two images?)
Then write it to my iPod, wait, click eject, wait, and click eject again
Then put all my music on my iPod?

I just want to make sure because I have over 7,000 songs and that takes a while for iTuens to put it on my iPod and I don't want this to happen and for me to waste about 2 hours for it not to work. Thanks for helpping me. I just want to make sure I'm going to do everything right.

You don't have to load the strings or resources if you didn't edit them for your theme. However, if you changed the strings and resources, save them and load them.
Lol Matthew.. You kinda got some terms mistaken there for a while.. He says Restore and then he describes a Reboot. Then you say that he is correct lol...

What? He described a restore perfectly. He just said he was going to put it in disk mode before restoring it.

Funny thing is that a little after posting in this thread my iPod did it.

I tried plugging it into my computer to see if I could put songs on it, but iTunes just says it has detected an iPod that appears to be corrupted.

EDIT: I just put it into iPW and it says it is Mac formatted.

Again this just proves our theory.
