Default iPodEditor Updates

This is the thread I would be posting updates for iPodEditor as I come out with more features.

So far I am finnish with the ImageMagick stuff. I'm working on image editing. You are going to be able to choose an image and click one button to open it with photoshop are any other image editing program. if you did not install ImageMagick than you are stuck with not being able to use photoshop because photoshop does not have pnm support. You can use Pixelmator to edit pnm so if you don't want to install ImageMagick you can use Pixelmator.
I got image preview to work so now when you open a resource file it would pop all of the images in a table view so you can choose witch one you want to see and edit it(When I get the open with editor working).
This is how it looks in the edit view with a image selected.

Note: All of the fields Type, Depth, With,... will work I just need to make a function to read prop files.
But before I do that I want to make it open the image in photoshop and other stuff like that.

If you have a feature request just post it here and I'll reply saying if I can do it or not.
When I get the basic functions done such as Image Editing and text Editing I will release a beta here so people can do test and tell me how it is so far.

I really don't know how to end this so bye have a wonder full day.

Mr. Gecko

The basic function of it is you extract the firmware to your hard drive and than you open the firmware when it opens you can extract the resource and from there you can edit the resource
Here is a picture of the front screen.

Yes that is true

Note that extract images is not to extract pictures it is to extract the firmwares images such as the boot image witch the ipod uses to boot off of

The reason it does not is because it uses iPodEdit a unix tool to extract resource and I use command line tools witch in windows programming there is no way of controlling command line tools like mac has.
