iPodEditor Problems

i'm having serveral problems with iPodEditor. my imagemagick build is fine, so thats not the problem. and iPodEditor knows where it is. when i extract resources it just keeps moving the loading bar for hours and doesn't do anything. when i extract images it just gives my 3 files; image-0, image-1 and image-2. anyone know what's going on? thanks.

You're probably using a background firmware that has gaps. iPodEditor has problems with these gaps in the firmware, I believe, so extracting the resource is not possible.

I think that's right. Gecko will probably verify what I've sad.

i extracted the firmwareusing ipodeditor though...

i took clean firmware files and put them into iPodEditor and they still dont work. I tried using the command line iPodEdit on my ipod, and it says it finds gaps but it still extracts the resources.

Same thing that I have been saying for months it won't extract for 10.4 you need to get a pre extracted one from http://mrgeckosmedia.com/iPodEditor/firmwares/
