What's more advantageous?

Hi all, I just got an iPod Touch (1.1.3) and so I'm a noob in this whole iPot scene. I was wondering which is more advantageous- to jailbreak 1.1.3 directly, or to downgrade from 1.1.3 to 1.1.1 and then jailbreak that version?

What are the advantages of each? Or given my lack of knowledge, am i just missing out on something completely?

i dont think it matters
just jailbreak 1.1.3

i recommend uppgrading to 1.1.4 and then jailbreak... it's the best version out there

... also downgrading to 1.1.1 to jailbreak 1.1.3 is not recommended... it gives bugs... and if you want to jailbreak just 1.1.1... well i think it is better to have a newer software version
