Jail Breaking Question

Hi I'm new to this and I don't know much about hacking. I was wondering if I bought a Jailbroken iPhone would I still have to pay the fees like an extra $50 a month on AT&T because I have an iPhone or would i just pay for Data and go on like my normal phone?

To my knowledge, if you have an iPhone (not a 3G) you can unlock it, and then you use any sim card. So I assume you'll just pay the data charges for that particular tariff.

yeah just take the SIM card outta ur old phone and put it in the iPhone and you're ready to go.

nope you would have nothing to do with AT&T, unless you bought it with an AT&T contract
