Default Just installed Ubuntu
Hi, I just install Ubuntu 7.10, (because of Boot problems), but I might keep it, anyone knows how to install Beryl without reinstalling Ubuntu ?

Well i dont know how to make a partition on linux but if you had windows its easy a pie.

loooool i totally bricked my master boot record :/ -.-

so i tried to install 7.10 (i already had 6.06 ... but w/o bootloader -> no access), but ... it always hangs while the "select software" screen (alternate cd -> text-mode install)

Ok, so can anybody can explain to me how to put the XP in the boot menu from from Linux ? I really need help on this (I can't access to my XP files anymore :-o !

When you were setting up your ubuntu install it should have recognized that there's a windows partition there, and setup grub accordingly.

if not, u fucked up
