Anyone Tried Beryl?

from my understanding to install beryl you download it from the repository or synaptic package manager. I havn't had any luck using it which I think is due to my shitty graphics card lol

haha i dont know how to install it either and the wiki of beryl is not working... im now downloading a distro that has beryl pre-installed haha that's easier... it's called sabayon... my computer is still downloading it though so i dont really know if it works

Beryl is great. I love how well it is designed. I prefer it over any OS.

i havent had much luck, as all my window frames dissapear if i run it.

I run Compiz on Gutsy Gibbon with an Ati mobility x1600 card (on my iMac)
that card is giving me a hell of a time btw.. now compiling a new kernel to fix a problem with hybernation caused by the card, and i can't even select my proper resolution (1650x1050)
From what i understood Compiz is what came out of Beryl, or am i mistaken?
