I've installed ubuntu and I can't find itunes installation for linux. what all of the linux users use instade?
can I keep my ipod windows formatted?

itunes isnt available for linux

i would recommend floola

and you can keep your ipod formatted to fat 32

floola is good. i personally dont use linux for media, aside from gaming.

iTunes, Photoshop, and M$ Office 2007 (and yes, I'm aware of OpenOffice) are keeping me from it.

That lack of professional applications in Linux gives me the chills..

GIMP isn't that far from PS.

You can use Amarok instead of iTunes. Actually there are tones of programs similar to iTunes on Linux. You just gotta know where to look.

It doesn't mean because it's a professional program that it's better.

By the way, all programs that have been posted in the add/remove software have been reviewed by many knowledge programmers. Pretty professional, no?
