Remote Desktop Win to Mac

Okay i got the Mac on the win network for the most part now i want to view my win on my mac when i go some were.

i used chicken of the vnc,remote desktop connection,vine,jollysfastvnc,logmein,

i got jollysfastvnc and logmein to work.
but jollysfastvnc dissconects after 20 seconds, and logmein cost to do file and printer transfering.

i cant get chicken of the vnc to work and i herd it was good.

vine i can get the server to work but not the viewer cost money.

and remote desktop connection is made by microsoft to work with microsoft but i cant get it to work.

so i can view my mac on my windows with no prob but i need to view my win o my mac with no prob.

does any one know of a good program and how to set this up. or tell me how to set up with one of the programs above. i need it to stay connected and transfer data.

on my win i have ultra vnc ,real vnc, tightvnc, plus the one built in win remote desktop. i can get the viewers to work not the server( i think or the servers could be working it could be my mac software.). the setting are all set in the networking pref on both mac and win.



Mac: Leopard macbook pro
Win: Vista (hope to be server 2008 soon.)

lol true but i did get it to work.
i used VNCViewer on the mac and realvnc on the win. they work for the most part.

but logmein works flawlessly. the only thing i cant do is transfer data or do a remote printing or listen to the sound from the remote computer. because i am too cheap to buy the pro version.

well all i had to do was get an unziper to unzip VNCViewer with it's weired file format.

logmein woks perfect even for the sound but i use it the other way around

logmein is good but the thing is you have to pay for all the extra stuff but i use vncwier for the mac. i do use logmein i have had an account with them for a least 3 years. but free acounts

If you are using leopard just go to /System/Library/CoreServices/Screen Sharing

ya it works i tried them all i had at least 6 programs i tried but the one i mentioned worked for me the best.
i have also been working on synergy to work on both machines.

if it is in the same house/office why not use LAN for printer and file transferring and logmein for the rest

well i got a HTTP and FTP VNC running off my tower and VNC running off my mac but my other computer with all the printers is wirless with the prnters set to share and i have all my six other computers using the Lan for the printer setting directing them to the printer computer. they all work except my mac laptop because the driver for my printers are not mac compatible so i figured why not direct my printing from my laptop to my Tower to the printer computer. i did some stuff not 100% sure what because i switched around so many things that i dont know what steps i used that worked but it is all good. i still am having a little trouble getting my FTP to work and Synergy i would like Synergy working. i allso save the doc and boot up xp in boot camp to print or boot up vmware fusion and that works just as fine.that is only when my wifi card does to my neighbors connection instead of mine.
