 |  Mac OS X Customization Sharing (Post Your Desktop) I know that the Windows section already has a "Show your Desktop" thread, but I wanted to do something Mac exclusive where people could show their customization of their Mac's GUI. Customization can include Shapeshifter, icon-changing with Candybar and Pixadex, dock-theming, nice wallpapers, application skins (especially Adium), etc. Both Tiger and Leopard screenshots are encouraged. To start off, I'd like to show my favorite screenshot that some people have already seen before. Shapeshifter theme is Cube by Hirogen, icons are from areao4.2 by heylove, and Adium skin is Fixed minimal_mod.

| deviantart.com, interfacelift.com, etc. Judging by the number of posts, I feel like I'm the only one in the iPodHacking community that has a Mac.

| What do you mean "there is currently no modding program for mac"? Doesn't my screenshot prove that you CAN modify Macs? Shapeshifter and Candybar 3 and you're all set. New screenshot. Shapeshifter theme is GAIA by Hirogen, imrik, etc., icons and Adium skin included with GAIA.

| I love the look of Leopard so no need to mod it up. Here's a screen shot of my MacBook Pro.  PS: The Microsoft Windows XP thing is parallels, its for when i need to stoop the the windows level for a program i REALLY need. I've used it for iPodWizard and that's basically it. PSS: Zaigouken, you're not the only one with a mac here obviously

And what about the icons? Don't you think the icons look so... fugly as they are? If I had Leopard, I would immediately grab myself a copy of Candybar 3 and get to work swapping out those icons because I think they're just so ugly.

| Sorry if i sounded hostile before, i totally didnt mean to  And my dock is long cause I'm on a MBP, 15 inch screen with a resolution of 1440x900 and i dont mind it stretching the whole width of my screen. The only the thing that bugged me was the transparency of the menu bar, but I quickly got used to it, and now i enjoy it. I think the dock is way better than the one in Tiger, i like the reflecting surface of it. I have no problem with the icons either. Well the look is all subjective and based of one's own opinion. I just like the way leopard looks

| Well, even though I have an iMac with resolution 1680 x 1050, I still don't like my dock to be long at all. I'm a minimalistic person. If I don't use an application at least three times per day, it's going off the dock. I don't mind opening up Finder, clicking on Applications, and looking for it. My dock:  Bird = Adium New screenshot. Shapeshifter theme is Xero Special Edition by Hirogen, icons are from areao4.2 by helove, and Adium skin is just Fixed minimal_mod.
