Posts Aren't Going Though...

My posts aren't working when I do the quick-reply...They'll appear, i'll refresh the page then they disappear.

Yeah it's not showing up for me either. And why are you doing quick reply? Why not just regulary post and quote if needed?

When you have less than 10 posts, there are some keywords that if you use (for example a link), your posts are put into a moderation list, where we approve/deny posts. Helps stop spam. Just approved your posts. Sorry for the wait.

Yeah it works, I guess the moderation thing is working, thats kinda dumb though...

Well it really isn't dumb. It is useful for preventing new users from asking questions like where can I download this hack, etc. It is dumb for the fist 10 posts.. It should be like 5.

Actually, With The low population count of this site, you can probbally get away with moderating the first 15 posts.
however, i wouldn't recomend it, as it would more likely then not, turn people away from the site.

If your looking for members, 5 is probbally best.

If your looking for perfect members, at a lowered rate of joining, 10-15 will be what you want. I used to moderate a forum that used this sort of thing to catch spammers, works like a charm. I'd also look into a helper post moderator, which limits the post count you can have in one day, and set the begginers count to that number(like only allow new people to post 5 messages in one day, and moderate or watch the posts of newbs for the first 5 messages) that way you don't have people spam out of the ten post limit(if your post moderator doesnt already stop a post count from rising before the post is approved)

Beautiful =) This site is designed so perfectly.. and that would make it even more perfect. There should be an admin that's specially dedicated to treat newcommer's posts, don't you think?
