Won't let me restore

Hello, I attempted to downgrade my ipod from 1.1.3 to 1.1.1 using a video on youtube, and all was fine and well until this came up:

So then, i pressed restore again, and i got the same message. I'd really appreciate any help, thanks!

try writing in a new firmware.. why do you want to downgrade in the first place?

I did that, and I thought it was the best way to jailbreak it.

If anyone could help me, again, i'd greatly appreciate it.

If you follow the steps exactly you should be able to downgrade...

@iHackr for the itouch you need to downgrade to 1.1.1 to jailbreak firmware 1.1.1 and 1.1.2... or jailbreak directly from 1.1.3 with ZiPhone but, some people prefer 1.1.2

I did that, and i got a white screen. When i pressed shift + restore, i looked for "IpoT Firmware 1.1.1", i couldn't find it.

Now the screen is completely white and it doesn't turn off, what am i doing wrong?

You have to find the firmware your self... just google for FW 1.1.1 should be called "iPod1,1_1.1.1_3A110a_Restore" when you download it... and that's the file you click when you are restoring...
