SLOW Firefox 3

Hey everyone, heres legend once again asking for help. I have had firefox 3 since download day, and it has worked well for me. But now, i am experiecing slowness. I tried reinstalling and it didnt help. It takes forever for pages to load. its like im back on a fast dial up. I already tried the make firefox 3 faster thing and it only seemed to make it slower. HELP! :eyecrazy::eyecrazy:

Did you messed up with the "Make FF3 faster" thread ? You might have changed something wrong =/

you sure its nothing installed on your comp

Maybe it's your internet? Maybe everyone in your block is on and it's lagging, try IE7 and see if it lags if it does then its your ISP.

Open run, write cmd in it and press enter.
A console opened, write ping google.com and see how many ms(milliseconds) it takes to respond, if it is ~100, then your Internet is ok, problem is somewhere else, but if it takes ~1000-2000mss, then the problem is with Internet speed itself and you should contact the ISP.

i did it and my ping is at 163ms... on some games i got the same.. buts its very much... some others got 30 or somethin... any help for me?

Or go to Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test to test your internet speed and ping. N00b way

Works fine for me. I haven't noticed any changes in speed.

It was sucking and freezing a lot for me (which is normal for firefox + mac) but I uninstalled completely (saved bookmarks first) and now that I've reinstalled it's running better.
Also uninstall or disable some of your addons, I've read numerous times about an addon being the culprit
