Windows Vista SP1 RC Released

Windows Vista SP1 is about to be released. Most probably at the beggining of January. Now there is a release candidate available. It is said it fixes most of Windows Vista's problems. I tried to install it twice but I got an error. The first one at the beginning of the installation and the second one after reboot. That's why I'm not giving any detail of how it is. I've been looking for this for a while now, hoping to find it. I'll give installing it a go and put in my 2 cents when its all done. Its amusing to see that just like before, its a registry change to get it to show up in windows update.

Be careful, if you have Cracked Vista (like some of us

), then SP1 will make it so a balloon pops up in the right hand corner a lot (Reminding you that you are on hacked Vista). I'm just waiting for Sp1 to be cracked, I really want this.

Yep, I hope if a person is able enough to crack vista, then they would look into SP1 and what it does. Would be a little stupid to go ahead and install it thinking that Microsoft doesn't care that we are all using a version of Paradox's OEM hack. Lucky for me, on this computer, my Windows is legit.

And for me, no problems at all. But I didn't notice any changes either, except that I have a new, and beautiful

Vista is too much eye-candy.

Yes the SP1 will be a major update, but will it be enough to get people to switch to Vista? I don't think so...

obviously not... And they say that the Window's XP service pack 3 would make many changes
